What a weekend! 🎉 For two days, the medieval old town turned into a stage where every single lane had its own little sensation to offer – balls flew through the air, children's eyes shone brighter than any fire show, and somewhere between laughter and wonder, we all forgot to check the time for two whole days. That's exactly what Fantastika is meant to be.
And honestly, we're a little speechless ourselves. We've never received so many positive messages as this year! From visitors who hopped from one show to the next, from artists who loved the special atmosphere in Freistadt, and from so many people who spontaneously shared their enthusiasm with us. That, by far, is the greatest reward for all the work behind Fantastika. 🥰
That's why we want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you 🙏: to our wonderful helpers, who worked hard behind the scenes (often on less sleep than was good for them), to the fantastic artists who cast their spell on us, and to you, dear audience – without your laughter and wonder, all of this would just be an empty stage.
An equally warm thank you goes to our sponsors and supporters as well as the municipality of Freistadt. You make this festival possible every single time – for that, we bow (and not just because our backs are already bent from setting up and tearing down 😜).
There's one more thing we need to tell you, and we're a little wistful about it: next year, we're giving ourselves – and you – a festival break. The next Festival Fantastika is planned for 2028. We promise: the wait will be worth it, and we'll use the time to recharge and come back to dazzle you with even more fantastic artists from all over the world.
